When I opened Bob 8 years ago, I had no idea just how much this little salon would become part of who I am. What started as a dream to create a space that felt warm, honest, and real — where both clients and team could feel seen, celebrated and cared for — has grown into something so much bigger than I ever imagined.
From day one, our ethos has been rooted in natural, sustainable beauty — a commitment to doing things with integrity, purpose and care for people and the planet. And that thread runs through everything we do.
Bob has seen me through so many seasons of life — becoming a mum (twice!) growing a team, navigating challenges, and celebrating countless little wins along the way. What I’m most proud of isn’t just the beautiful hair we do, but the culture we’ve built: the connections, the laughter, the deep care, and the realness that exists between our walls.
To everyone who’s walked through the doors, stood beside me, trusted me, or helped shape this journey — thank you. You are the heart of Bob. And I’m so bloody grateful.

Working at Bob was a breath of fresh air and unlike any salon I’d ever stepped into. From the moment I walked through the doors, it felt like home. The space was beautiful, warm, and full of intention, but it was the people and the purpose that made it truly special.
Bob’s sustainable ethos didn’t just shape the way the salon ran — it gently wove its way into my everyday life, influencing how I work, create, and live. I’ve been lucky enough to work with the team on and off since the very beginning. In fact, I was the makeup artist called in last-minute for their very first photoshoot — a moment that kicked off many years of collaboration and connection.

I've been a loyal client of *Bob* for six years, and there are many reasons I keep coming back. I have blonde highlights, and, nowadays, my hair is often dry from teaching and practicing hot vinyasa yoga, as well as regular blow-drying and straightening.
The team at Bob have my back though and always bring it back to life with their natural and nourishing approach. Over the years, my hair has changed in texture and needs, but the team’s honest and thoughtful guidance has helped me adapt and continue to feel confident! The team doesn’t just style my hair. They care about its long-term health and give me clear, realistic advice to keep it looking and feeling its best.
Beyond the expert care, *Bob* feels like a second home. The space is calming and beautifully curated, always offering a lovely selection of teas and locally made treats that make each visit feel like a mini retreat!
