Charlotte | Founder & Director

Charlotte founded Bob Hair Co. in 2017 to bring natural, ethical hair care to the forefront. A trained stylist from New Zealand with 25 years in the industry, she has worked internationally across editorial, fashion, and salon spaces — bringing a wealth of experience and vision to Bob.

Charlotte balances running the business with raising her two daughters, staying closely involved in shaping both the salon experience and team culture. She specialises in natural-looking colour that complements each client’s features, skin tone, and lifestyle — with a focus on seamless blends and soft, wearable tones that grow out beautifully. Charlotte also brings a passion for precision cutting and a particular love for curly and textured hair, skilfully shaping and enhancing each curl’s natural movement.

Ryan | Senior Stylist

Originally from England, Ryan moved to Melbourne to grow his career in a city known for creativity and culture. With a decade of experience, he has built a reputation for his relaxed, down-to-earth approach and strong technical skill. He specialises in lived-in blondes, dimensional colour, and modern layered cuts that embrace natural texture.

Passionate about helping clients feel confident and seen, Ryan balances low-maintenance refreshes with transformative work, always tailoring his craft to the individual. He has a particular interest in scalp health, believing that great hair starts with a healthy foundation.

Ryan’s focus is always on creating effortless, personalised looks that grow out beautifully and suit each client’s lifestyle.

Lara | Stylist / Colourist

A Melbourne local with a strong eye for detail, Lara is Bob’s Colour Stylist, specialising in soft, lived-in blondes and thoughtful, wearable colour. Her work is grounded in balance and technique, and always finished with our signature Bob Blow Dry for an effortless, polished result. She also offers modern, undone up-styles for events and special occasions.

Lara brings a calm confidence and considered approach to every appointment, creating a relaxed experience where clients feel genuinely listened to and cared for. Outside the salon, she enjoys staying active at the gym and continuing to develop her skills as a colourist

Chloe | Emerging Stylist

Chloe is the newest member of the Bob team and is beginning her journey as a hairdressing apprentice. With her warm, bubbly nature and natural attention to detail, she plays an important role in supporting the smooth running of the salon while learning alongside our stylists each day.

Already known for her beautiful blow-dries and calm, caring approach with clients, Chloe is passionate about developing her skills and growing within the craft. She’s excited to keep learning, building confidence, and being part of creating good hair days at Bob.

Soph | Salon Manager

As Salon Manager, Sophie brings a wealth of experience and heart to Bob, blending her background as an EA, Office Manager, and Events Manager to create a space that runs seamlessly while feeling welcoming and personal. Passionate about people and building genuine connections, Sophie supports both the team and clients with warmth, organisation, and care.

Originally from the UK and proud to call Melbourne home, Sophie is deeply aligned with Bob’s values, especially its commitment to sustainability and community.

Her positive energy and dedication ensure that every client feels seen, supported, and at ease the moment they step through the door.
